Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Protected Labs ("we", "us") collects through the protected.sh website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what you send us through our forms plus minimal technical data needed to run the site securely, we use it solely to respond to you, and we never sell it.

What we collect

  • Form submissions. When you submit the Deep Audit application or the contact form, we receive the information you enter: your name, work email, company and repository URLs, tech stack, subject, and the content of your message or security concerns.
  • Basic server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request metadata, such as IP address, user agent, and country, to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Form submissions include the originating country and a timestamp in the notification email we receive.

reCAPTCHA

Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3 to filter automated abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data and interaction signals, and sends it to Google for bot scoring. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The reCAPTCHA script only loads when you interact with a form field, not on any other page.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first measurement tool. It is cookieless, collects no personal data, and performs no cross-site tracking or fingerprinting. Because no cookies or personal identifiers are used for analytics, this site does not need, and does not show, a cookie consent banner.

How we use your data

Form submissions are used for exactly one purpose: evaluating and responding to your inquiry or audit application. Submissions are delivered as email to sales@protectedlabs.com via MailChannels, our transactional email provider. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.

Retention

We keep submission emails for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for reasonable business record-keeping, after which they are deleted. If you would like a submission deleted sooner, just ask.

Your rights and contact

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of data you have submitted, email sales@protectedlabs.com. We will respond promptly.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be noted prominently.
